ADHD: How OT Can Help!

ADHD is a neurological condition that causes children to struggle with paying attention, being extremely active, and acting impulsively.


Symptoms of ADHD:

  • having a short attention span, easily distracted

  • appearing forgetful or losing things

  • inability to stick to tasks that are tedious or time-consuming

  • appearing unable to carry out instructions

  • having difficulty organizing tasks

  • being unable to sit still, constantly fidgeting

  • excessive talking

  • difficulty waiting their turn

  • acting without thinking

  • little or no sense of danger
